Job Opportunity : Researcher // Deadline: 7th February 2025
We’re looking for a Researcher to directly contribute to the advancement of the visual arts sector in Yorkshire and Humber, whilst reinforcing YVAN’s values and mission.
The knowledge and information we collect helps to inform national campaigns and initiatives to improve conditions for artists. Like many publicly funded organisations we have limited resources and capacity, offering little opportunity to stop and truly reflect on our achievements and the knowledge we have gained, while remaining unbiased about the interpretation.
At the end of 2024 we find ourselves in a relatively stable position after a long period of change and uncertainty so we feel it is the right time to stop and engage in a period of self analysis.
We are looking for an arts professional with research skills to look over our projects, reports and materials since the last two commissioned reports in 2018.

Fee available £3000 inclusive, on a self employed basis.
We welcome expressions of interest that provide an insight into your approach, and ethical principles.
